Data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase (a hosted PostgreSQL database), and the web app is served by Vercel. Both act only on our instructions. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access is restricted by row-level security: each signed-in user can read only their own records; only the app's administrator can see aggregated and per-user data for running the service. Your study data is also kept on your own phone.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account exists. Usage records older than 24 months are deleted. When you delete your account, your profile, progress, usage records and cloud backup are deleted from our database immediately; residual copies in our provider's encrypted backups expire within 30 days.

Chakravyuh is meant for UPSC aspirants, who must be at least 21 years old to sit the exam. The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
